Welcome to OUR first apartment!

So after 6 months of apartment searching and 5 rejections, we are now the proud renters of this charming apartment. Am very excited to have my name on the name plate, and it even comes first. When we first looked at the apatment and saw this room, we knew it was perfect for us. Most of the rooms in the apartment have these beautifully ornate ceilings. But this room is our favorite! It's one huge space which has become the living/dining room.

This is the other side of the room, but so far gets very little use; only when we have company.

Here's our showering room. When we first moved in, we both kept forgetting that the toilette was in a separate room.

Here's the view from our balcony. Looking forward to warmer temps...it's just large enough to fit a grill and me on a lounge chair. We live above this Chinese Restauant. Decent food, but pricy even for Zurich standards!


Here's our kitchen. Not the most exciting one, but fully functional.
