Sightseeing in Hyderabad

We went to Golkonda Fort over the weekend, which was originally a mud fort built in the 13th century, but later built from large masonry blocks. This massive fort is situated 3 kms from the perimeter and the walls surrounding the fort are 7 kms in circumference. In its glory, this fort was famous for the diamond trade.

We seem to attract quite a bit of attention already. But on this day, I was all decked out, looking very touristy and of course western. Many curious George's approached Sudi, asking where HE was from. He said here, but nobody believed him. Then he starting speaking Hindi and they all had a good laugh.
