New airport open for business

It's definitely an exciting time for Hyderabad! The new airport is open and more importantly operational. After it's inauguration on the 16th, some pending issues prevented its debut. So when we flew out to Mumbai a week later, we flew out of the old airport. But to our pleasant surprise, we landed in the new airport upon our return. It was actually their first day of operation, so they were still working out the kinks. But the new airport looks great! Just hope they can repair the wall that fell down...minor cosmetic issues.







Oh, and the road that goes to the airport won't be completed for another 9-12 months. Got to love India!
